Joe Aribo has admitted that Rangers can improve after a mixed start to the 2020/21 season for the Scottish champions.
Speaking to the press ahead of tomorrow’s UEFA Europa League clash against Sparta Prague, the Nigerian international believes that Rangers have started the campaign well, but things can improve after some poor results so far.
The Gers were eliminated from the UEFA Champions League at the qualifying stage of the competition, whilst Steve Gerrard’s side have already lost in the Scottish Premiership after going all of last season unbeaten in the league.
Despite crashing out of the Champions League and having a loss on the board, Rangers by all accounts have done well this season. The Glasgow side still sit top of the SPL table, and the Scottish giants have a strong chance of progressing through their Europa League group.
Indeed, Aribo believes that Rangers sit in a good position overall. However, the £14,000-a-week midfield also thinks the side can improve on results and performances as the season progresses.
Aribo said: “I wouldn’t necessarily say that we’ve discussed too much on it. We’ve spoken about wanting to be better and wanting to improve. But it’s good for us, even with where we’re sitting right now, we want to improve and we want to be better.

“It shows that there’s no complacency within the squad. Everyone wants to improve, to do more and to be better. It just shows how strong we are as a team. We’re still in a good position so far.”
With the season only just a month old, Rangers have plenty of time to find their feet. And with Gerrard’s side already top of the table and their Europa League campaign just beginning, there’s plenty of time for the Gers to find success.
