Jamie O’Hara has urged Sergio Reguilon to secure a transfer from Tottenham Hotspur to Manchester United.
Following Luke Shaw’s injury, Manchester United are on the lookout for cover at left-back before the 2023 summer transfer window slams shut on Friday.
With Sergio Reguilon out of favour under Ange Postecoglou at Tottenham Hotspur, he is expected to leave, with those at Old Trafford keen to bring him on board.
Given the player’s stance at Spurs, O’Hara told Manchester United, who will be playing in the Champions League this season, to ‘take him’ and how he would ‘get a taxi’ if need be, as he told Sky Sports News (28/08/23).
It hasn’t worked out for the 26-year-old at Hotspur Way following his £32 million transfer from Real Madrid in 2020 (Sky Sports) – he has since been loaned out twice.
Well, O’Hara wants him gone for good this time and given that Manchester United are in need of that left-sided fullback, then there is a chance he joins, with O’Hara sharing his thoughts.

“Reguilon, I am like take him,” said O’Hara about Manchester United’s interest. “I would get the taxi. I would sort it out for him. No problem.”

Tottenham and Manchester United need to offload deadwood
Heading into the final days of the summer transfer window, the fans of both clubs would like more business to be done by their teams.
But it seems as though deadwood needs to be booted out before they can push as hard as they want, in terms of incomings.
From Harry Maguire to Eric Dier, the England duo haven’t played a single minute between them this season. Gareth Southgate names his squad for the forthcoming internationals on Thursday, you just know what is going to happen.
