Skip Bayless is expecting big things from Indiana Fever superstar Caitlin Clark in the remainder of the WNBA season.
Clark is having an amazing season and broke yet another WNBA record in her last game against the Connecticut Sun.
The point guard also had her first 45-point game last week and is averaging 21 points and eight assists per game this year.
Clark has been named an All-Star ahead of this Sunday’s exhibition game in Chicago, but she will have bigger aspirations.
Bayless has predicted that the 24-year-old could even join A’ja Wilson in the MVP race in the second half of the season.

Caitlin Clark is currently among the top five contenders to win the WNBA MVP award, but A’ja Wilson is the clear favourite.
Wilson is the highest scorer in the league, averaging more than 25 PPG, and is expected to win her third consecutive MVP.
The Dallas Wings’ Paige Bueckers and the Minnesota Lynx’s Olivia Miles are two of the other leading candidates.
Meanwhile, Clark’s Indiana Fever teammate, Kelsey Mitchell, is also having a great season and could split the vote.
Therefore, Clark will need to step up her statistical output after the All-Star break and win the Eastern Conference.
The Fever are currently top of the East standings with a 17-10 record, one win ahead of the Atlanta Dream.
While it may seem unlikely for Clark to win the MVP race, Skip Bayless explained on social media that he is convinced it is possible.
“I won’t be surprised if Caitlin Clark returns from the All-Star break and makes a run at MVP as the Fever continue to roll,” he tweeted.
“She’s starting to look healthy and quick and in complete control of the W’s most explosive offense. But obviously she had to stay healthy, knock on wood.”
Indeed, the Indiana Fever are the best offensive team in the WNBA, scoring 95.5 points per game—four more than anyone else.
