Hatayspor manger Omer Erdogan expects Aaron Boupendza to leave during the summer transfer window with Rangers, Celtic and a host of Premier League clubs linked, as he told Aksam.
After missing out on the European places, a Hatayspor side who finished sixth in the table are under no illusions regarding the future of the Super Lig Golden Boot winner.
90Min reported in March that Boupendza’s prolific displays had caught the eye of (deep breath) Newcastle United, Leicester City, Crystal Palace, West Ham and a goal-shy Wolverhampton Wanderers side.
The one-time Bordeaux youngster is also allegedly on the radar of Old Firm rivals Celtic and Rangers amid reports linking both Odsonne Edouard and Alfredo Morelos with a summer move away from the Scottish Premiership.
While Erdogan would love to keep Boupendza for another year, the Hatayspor manager knows he may be fighting a losing battle.
“I hope Boupendza will be with us. I think Boupendza will be sold. (There are) very serious offers,” Erdogan said of a man who has been tipped to join fellow Gabon international Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang at Arsenal.
“I think he will be sold if he gets the offer he wants.

“It seems like Boupendza will not continue (with us).”
Erdogan admits that his 22-goal talisman has had his head turned by speculation, although Boupendza has already turned down an offer from Krasnodar as he has little interest in joining a club in Russia.
An Atalanta side who finished third in Serie A, securing Champions League qualification along the way, may be a more alluring destination. La Dea have reportedly launched a £7 million bid for Boupendza’s signature.
