Gary Neville has said on Sky Sports Premier League (7:11pm, March 14, 2022) that Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal, and not Manchester United, will finish fourth in the Premier League table this season.

Neville had said on Sky Sports Premier League (7:42pm, March 6, 2022) that Manchester United will finish fourth, adding that he does not “trust Arsenal fully”.

However, it seems that the former United defender has changed his opinion, and has now said that Arsenal will end up fourth this campaign.

Neville said about Arsenal on Sky Sports Premier League (7:11pm, March 14, 2022): “I think they will finish fourth, but they have got Liverpool on Wednesday night, they have got Aston Villa away on Saturday, they have got Tottenham still to come, they have got Manchester United to play. Manchester United have difficult games as well.”

Arsenal could finish fourth

In our view, Arsenal do have a very good chance of finishing fourth in the Premier League table this season.

In fact, the Gunners could even displace Chelsea from the third spot.

Chelsea are third with 59 points from 28 matches, while Arsenal are fourth with 51 points from 26 games.

Yes, Manchester United are a point behind the Gunners in fifth spot, but they have played 29 games.

West Ham United and Wolverhampton Wanderers have also played 29 games, while Tottenham Hotspur have played 27 matches.

Arsenal are winning matches regularly and have momentum.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta have build the current team in his own image, and the players now fully know what they are expected to do.
