Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham Hotspur may have suffered a defeat this past weekend, but there is no question that they are having a very good season.
Tottenham Hotspur are above the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea and Newcastle United in the Premier League table.
Spurs are only three points behind Aston Villa, who are fourth and have played a game more. There is a very good chance that Ange Postecoglou’s side will end up in the UEFA Champions League next season.
A number of Tottenham youngsters are doing well at the moment, and one of them is Pape Matar Sarr.
Under Postecoglou, the 21-year-old has established himself as an important figure in the Tottenham midfield and has done well.

The Senegal international has scored three goals and given three assists in 25 matches in all competitions for Spurs this season.
The £14.6 million (Sky Sports) midfielder has made 20 starts and four substitute appearances in the Premier League this campaign. He has scored three goals and provided three assists in those games.
Praise for Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Pape Matar Sarr
As you can see below, former Tottenham midfielder and Sky Sports pundit Jamie Redknapp has been hugely impressed with Sarr, admitting that he is surprised at how he is doing at the moment.
Redknapp said about Sarr on Sky Sports, as transcribed by TheSpursNews “He’s been a revelation. And I must admit I didn’t see it [coming].
“Last year, there were times under Antonio Conte where he was getting sub-subbed which can always be a bit humiliating.
“There was a lot of talk in the summer about him having a really good pre-season and I love hearing that about a player.”
My View: Pape Matar Sarr will get better
In my opinion, Tottenham Hotspur and Senegal international midfielder Pape Matar Sarr will get better in the coming years.
Sarr is only 21 now, and he is playing regularly for a top Premier League club with lofty ambitions. Not many players of his age are doing that.
I think that the youngster will develop and improve further in the coming years and add more facets to his game.
