Some Tottenham Hotspur fans on social media are over the moon after it was reported that Harry Winks could move to Everton this summer.
Spurs certainly need to trim their squad and raise some funds in this window, and one player who looks like he’s surplus to requirements is Winks.
Now, that isn’t to say that Winks is a bad footballer. After all, he’s an England international, but with the amount of talent Spurs have in the midfield at the moment, it’s hard to make a case for him staying in north London any longer.
Tottenham supporters certainly feel as though selling Winks will be beneficial to the club, and they’ve been expressing that opinion on social media.
Of course, it remains to be seen whether or not this deal comes to fruition, but with Everton famously being big spenders in recent years, Spurs could get a decent fee for the midfielder.
