Speaking on England’s official YouTube channel, Rio Ferdinand has been waxing-lyrical about reported Liverpool transfer target Jude Bellingham.

The former Manchester United man was previewing England’s game with Germany, and he was asked about the younger players in the squad, including Bellingham.

It’s fair to say that Ferdinand is a fan of Bellingham, claiming that he’s going to be a crazy player one day.

What’s been said?

Ferdinand says that he’s a huge fan of Bellingham and his fearless approach to the game.

“I love this guy man. I love him, I love his whole vibe, he’s fearless like a lot of the young players he’s fearless, but Bellingham has something about him where you can see him leading this team for years to come, there’s a steeliness about him and he goes into big situations. My man was playing in the Champions League at the Etihad and bossing it. Demanding the ball from senior players, he’s got a confidence about him and a borderline arrogance that I love to see. His future, he’s going to be crazy.”

Perfect for Liverpool

Ferdinand’s view just shows how perfect Bellingham would be for Liverpool.

Liverpool are a club built on this steeliness and fearlessness, and Bellingham would be perfect for the Reds and Jurgen Klopp.

This sort of attitude is what made European nights at Anfield so mythical, and if Bellingham was to head to Anfield, we’d back him to turn up for those big games.

Will this transfer come to fruition? Well, it’s hard to say at this point, but in our view, Liverpool should be doing all they can to land the youngster.
