Harry Redknapp has told talkSPORT (03/08/21 at 7:45 am) that Tottenham owner, Joe Lewis, is ‘quite friendly’ with the Manchester City owners.
The former Premier League boss shared that was the case between the two when he was Tottenham boss.
All of this is interesting given that Manchester City now seemingly want to sign Tottenham’s main man, Harry Kane.
Whether that has any bearings on this transfer saga, remains to be seen, but this is what Redknapp had to say about Spurs’ owner and the Abu Dhabi-based group at Manchester City.
“The strange thing is, I think, Joe Lewis is quite friendly with the owner at Manchester City,” said Redknapp.
“I know they were very friendly. I think they were doing business a couple of years ago when I was there, for sure.”

Well, Kane’s no-show at Tottenham training yesterday has steered the transfer saga surrounding the 28-year-old in a direction perhaps not many expected.
Daniel Levy now has his work cut out and given that his best player is seemingly refusing to turn up to training, it has derailed Tottenham’s start to the new Premier League season.
Welcome to North London, Nuno Espirito Santo!
On paper, he probably wasn’t even the first choice to be Tottenham boss and now he has a heap of mess to deal with before a ball could be kicked in the Premier League.
