Fabrizio Romano has claimed on Sky Sports News that Tottenham Hotspur are not planning to sell Harry Kane to Manchester City even though he has not turned up for training today.
As reported by Sky Sports, Kane decided not to show up for training at Tottenham this morning.
The 28-year-old striker was expected to return for pre-season training today following his involvement with England at Euro 2020 this summer.
The Daily Star have reported that City are prepared to pay £120 million for Kane, but Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy values the striker at £160 million and actually does not want to sell him.
Well-known and well-respected journalist Romano has claimed that Tottenham remain adamant that they will not sell Kane, and that the striker will play for the club this season.
Romano said on Sky Sports News: “From what I am told, Tottenham’s stance is still the same. Harry Kane will end up playing for Tottenham this season.”

What now for Harry Kane?
It appears that Kane wants to leave Spurs, but the North London club do not want to sell him.
Would Tottenham chairman Levy be willing to keep a player at the club against his wishes?
How would Kane feel if he is forced to play for Spurs this season?

How would the fans react?
It is getting really complicated now.
Perhaps in the coming days there will be more development and more twists.
It is the summer transfer window, after all.
