Paul Merson has admitted he hopes to see Arsenal ‘wipe the floor’ with Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.
Both North London outfits meet on Spurs’ turf this weekend for what promises to be a cracking derby affair.
Tottenham have won their last two games since losing to Aston Villa and Arsenal remain top of the Premier League table.
Mikel Arteta’s side have an 11-point cushion over the Lilywhites back in fifth place.
Ideally, Spurs might need the victory to boost their hopes of Champions League football next season.

Tottenham won this fixture 3-0 toward the end of last season to effectively kill Arsenal’s chances of finishing in the top four.
And although Merson is hoping for revenge and thensome, he believes it’ll end 2-2.
He told Sportskeeda: “If Tottenham play a dangerous game, however, Arsenal could run riot. I don’t see this game as a foregone conclusion – I hope Arsenal wipe the floor with Tottenham, but I don’t think they will. Prediction: Tottenham Hotspur 2-2 Arsenal.”
There’s no doubt that the Gunners will be narrow favourites.
Then again, Antonio Conte is a much more experienced manager than his Spanish counterpart, who has only been in the job three years.
Besides, being favourites doesn’t mean much.
The underdog label might suit Tottenham down to the ground against an Arsenal side who will be under the microscope, regarding their title ambitions.
