Tottenham target Noni Madueke has likened his game to some of the biggest names in football, such as Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
Speaking to the Mirror, the PSV Eindhoven star compared his attitude on the pitch to the likes of Messi and Ronaldo. The England U-21 star is enjoying a great season in the Eredivisie, with Madueke hitting six goals in ten games already.
Indeed, the form from the 21-year-old has resulted in Tottenham reigniting their interest in Madueke. However, according to the Mirror, Fabio Paratici will have to pay £40m to sign the attacker for Spurs.
With the winger signing a new long-term deal with PSV just before the closure of the window, Madueke will likely stay in Holland for at least the remainder of this season.
Spurs could attempt to sign the winger again next year. And in his interview with the Mirror, Madueke spoke about the players who have inspired him in his career, and how he likens himself to the likes of Ronaldo and Messi.
The PSV star said: “I have the drive to be the best. I am never satisfied if I am not. I am the type to get angry if I am not. That is how I am. It is a competitive edge. To be a great player you have to have it.”

Madueke added: “All my idols, people like Neymar, Ronaldo, Messi and the new generation guys like Mbappe, they all play with a confident arrogance.”
With Madueke on England U-21 duty this week, the teenager attacker has the chance to further increase his reputation in his home country against Romania and Kosovo.
