TalkSport presenter Laura Woods has admitted that she finds Tottenham Hotspur’s stadium ‘beautiful’ and ‘very cool’, even though shes ‘hates to say it’ because she is an Arsenal supporter.
Given Laura Woods’ line of work, she would have visited Tottenham’s stadium on a number of occasions, as she spoke about its beauty even when she has gone to work at the stadium when it’s empty, on talkSPORT.
In 2019, Tottenham ended their long-time association with White Hart Lane to move into a new home in order to progress the club even further.
According to Forbes, the cost of Tottenham’s stadium was beyond a staggering £850 million – as the 60,000-capacity stadium also holds NFL matches, as well as other highly financial-benefiting events.
In Tottenham’s first full season at their new home, which is just a stone’s throw away from where White Hart Lane was, they had just lost the Champions League final to Liverpool, before sacking Mauricio Pochettino the following campaign.
Since then, two more managers have taken to the dugout and now the third, in Antonio Conte, is hoping to secure some much-needed glory, as Woods shared her thoughts on Tottenham’s stadium.
“I hate to say it, but the best one I went to recently was the Spurs stadium,” said Woods. “I went for the launch, and of course, I have been back a few times for games and things like that.
“I have been at Tottenham’s stadium when it’s empty a couple of times for work as well and it is beautiful. It’s very cool and nice.”

Tottenham’s stadium wasn’t built just to look pretty but create historic and memorable moments to help elevate the status of the club even further.
Whilst that was supposed to happen as they moved into their new surroundings, the club actually went through a period of struggle, including missing out on the Champions League.
Conte worked his magic and brought that back to north London last season, but can he now add a trophy to boot?
In the long run, there’s no doubt that it can be achieved and once Spurs get over the line, then they’ll probably do it on a few more occasions.
