Kevin Nolan doesn’t think Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham Hotspur are ‘quite there yet’ after their unbeaten start to the Premier League season.

The West Ham United coach acknowledged that Tottenham have made a ‘fantastic’ start, as he told talkSPORT (16/10/23).

After eight Premier League games, Spurs are sitting top of the tree and are unbeaten, including beating Liverpool and Manchester United.

When Harry Kane left on the eve of the new Premier League season, many thought that Spurs would crumble from the off.

But it has been far from it because they have been the best team in the league, from back to front.

Not only has Ange Postecoglou changed the club’s style of play to one that has the players on the front foot, but they have also only conceded eight goals this term.

January transfer window

It’s going to be interesting to see what Spurs do in the winter because depth is needed behind the currently thriving XI.

Tim Sherwood recently sent a message to Daniel Levy about January, as Spurs sit top of the tree and in a possible title challenge.

Regardless of what happens during these coming months, surely Postecoglou has done enough to show Spurs that he is worth backing for the long term.
