Liam Cooper has claimed that he ‘can’t really remember’ Arsenal having too many chances during the London club’s 1-0 win against Leeds United on Sunday at Elland Road.
The Leeds defender shared how Bukayo Saka, who scored the only goal of the game in the first half, scored what he felt was a ‘half-chance’ and that shows the quality the Yorkshire side are up against.
After the Premier League clash was delayed because of a power outage, it was Saka who provided the thunderbolt with his left foot in the first half.

With the home crowd behind them, Jesse Marsch’s men did take the game to the current Premier League leaders.
Patrick Bamford was in the thick of the action because, following a penalty midway through the second-half, he scuffed his shot past Aaron Ramsdale’s post, before seeing a penalty in stoppage-time overturned after a few handbags with Gabriel.
Nonetheless, Liam Cooper was dejected by his team’s performance because he knew they played well enough to secure at least a point, as posted by Leeds’ official Twitter account.
“The way we started the game, it’s not ideal,” said Cooper. “I thought both teams, to be fair, did well and made it a good spectacle throughout the game. I thought we deserved a lot more.
“I can’t really remember Arsenal having too many chances. We have to take our chances when they come and that’s the level we are playing at.
“I think Bukayo’s chances, it’s even a half-chance and it shows what we are up against in this league.”

TWO AWAY TRIPS TO ROUND OFF THE MONTH
Leeds don’t seem to have settled into the new season, with injuries, new arrivals, one month without football and suspensions also playing their part.
Well, perhaps an action-packed fixture list, including three games to round off October, might just do them the world of good.
The Whites travel to another struggling team – Leicester City on Thursday – hoping to push away from those behind them.
Then it’s a home tie against newly-promoted Fulham, before it’s an evening trip to Anfield to take on Liverpool at Anfield.
