Well, Michael Beale is back at Rangers.
The Gers confirmed earlier this week that they had hired the 42-year-old as Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s long-term replacement at Ibrox.
Beale previously worked at Rangers as part of Steven Gerrard’s coaching staff.
He returns to Glasgow with a difficult job, with Celtic nine points clear of their Old Firm rivals in the Scottish Premiership title race.
Beale is going to need major performances from his new players during the second half of the campaign – and two players he tips to have a ‘huge impact’ is Tom Lawrence and Ianis Hagi.

Lawrence hasn’t kicked a ball for the light Blues since August due to injury, while the Romanian attacker has been absent since January of this year.
The new Rangers boss told Sky Sports: “We have players like Tom Lawrence and Ianis Hagi that are going to have a huge impact on our team when they’re fit and well.”
Two goals from four Premiership starts illustrates that Lawrence was settling in very nicely to life at Ibrox, prior to his injury.
So technically, Beale is right in saying that Rangers are missing some big players and it’ll be fascinating to see whether their return in the new year can help the Gers make it a little more competitive with Celtic during the second half of the campaign.
Everyone knows what a big player Hagi has been so who knows what the future holds from January to June.
