Speaking in his pre-match press conference, Jurgen Klopp has shared what he did in the dressing room after Alisson’s dramatic late winner against West Brom.

Alisson’s goal against the Baggies will go down in history as one of the most dramatic goals in Premier League history, and we can only imagine what it was like in the dressing room after the game.

The Liverpool players must’ve been going absolutely crazy, but Klopp says that he just kept watching the goal over and over.

“Honestly, in the dressing room afterwards I’ve never watched a goal more often directly after a game than this goal, but since then it’s all fine, we know that nothing really happened apart from the fact that we’re still in the race, but we are not even close to thinking we’re there, because we know how high the hurdles are,” Klopp said.

To be fair to Klopp we can’t blame him.

We must’ve watched the clip of Alisson’s goal at least 10 times after the game, and we still can’t believe what we’ve seen.

It’s been said so many times, but what a header it was. Goalkeeper goals are often scruffy efforts, but Alisson got up there as if he was a real target man akin to a prime Andy Carroll.

It’s no wonder why Glenn Hoddle was comparing him to Virgil van Dijk after the game.
