Fabrizio Romano on Arsenal’s Edu

Doing well

In our view, Arsenal are doing extremely well at the moment, and Edu deserves a lot of credit.

It has been a process at the Emirates Stadium, and Edu has been very much a part of it.

Mikel Arteta’s side are as many as five points clear of second-placed and defending champions Manchester City at the top of the Premier League table at the moment.

And they have also reached the knockout rounds of the UEFA Europa League.

It will be interesting to see how Arsenal do after the 2022 World Cup finals in Qatar.

It will also be interesting to note if the Gunners make any new signings in the January transfer window in order to enhance their chances of beating City to the league title.
