West Ham United earned a hugely important three points against West Brom last night.

Mark Noble of West Ham United looks on during a Pre Season Friendly between Manchester City and West Ham United at the Laugardalsvollur stadium on August 4, 2017 in Reykjavik, Iceland.

Hammers skipper Mark Noble spoke to reporters in the aftermath of his side’s dramatic last minute win against West Bromwich Albion yesterday, and joked that Andy Carroll is better with his right foot than he is his left, as quoted by the club’s official website.

The 28-year-old Geordie has played the pantomime villain on many occasions this season, but he was very much the hero at the London Stadium last night, after scoring a hugely important winner for his side.

West Ham now sit in 16th position in the Premier League table, and will be breathing easier than they were before the game against Alan Pardew’s side last night.

Mark Noble of West Ham United celebrates scoring their first goal from the penalty spot during the Premier League match between Stoke City and West Ham United at Bet365 Stadium on December...

“I’ve always said his right foot is better than his left foot! I think he’s proved it there with that finish! I truly believed that if we got a goal then it would be tough for West Brom to hold out. West Brom haven’t won in a long time, although to be honest, when Marko Arnautovic flashed our last counter-attack across the goal I thought the game was over.”

Next up for the Hammers is a trip to Wembley Stadium to take on bitter rivals Tottenham Hotspur, and they will need both Noble and Carroll to be at their very best if they are to take anything at all from the game.
