USA pundit Herculez Gomez has spoken about the future of Tyler Adams and what happens if Leeds United suffer relegation from the Premier League.
The former USMNT international thinks Tyler Adams is ‘proven’ and the hard-hitting midfielder would find a ‘suitor’ if Sam Allardyce is unable to keep Leeds up, as he told ESPN.
From the Englishman’s first two games in charge, Leeds have picked up one point. But they did have to travel to Manchester City and face Champions League-chasing Newcastle United.

Either way, the absence of their defensive midfielder has caused the team huge issues in the middle of the park.
Adams has been out of action with a hamstring injury since early March and he has watched his side concede the most goals a team has shipped in the month of April since the 1950s’, it included Crystal Palace scoring five at Elland Road.
Nonetheless, US pundit Gomez was asked, who is in a worse position? Christian Pulisic, who can’t get a game for a Chelsea side sitting in the bottom half of the Premier League table, or the American trio at Leeds?
“Who is in a worse place? It’s got to be the American trio at Leeds,” said Gomez. “Let me tell you where Leeds are at.
“They are 18th in the Premier League. They have a few games left. They need some help – what happens when you get relegated, it’s a stain on your CV as a player. Your value goes down.
“Maybe you would say that Tyler Adams would find a suitor. He has proven himself, albeit as a defensive midfielder of the worst defensive team in the Premier League. 71 goals against make them the worst.
“Maybe he will find somewhere to go and find a nice landing spot.”

TYLER ADAMS IS PREMIER LEAGUE WORTHY
The 24-year-old has showcased enough in this struggling Leeds side that he is Premier League-worthy – Arsenal and Newcastle United have expressed interest in the midfielder’s services.
It could even be argued that he has outperformed his fellow countryman, Weston McKennie, who is on-loan from Juventus.
It’s not just what Adams provides with the ball, but his leadership skills are also of high, high quality, so if Leeds go down, then he should have many offers coming his way.
