Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal and Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United are interested in signing Tyler Adams from Leeds United in the summer transfer window, according to a report.
Journalist Dean Jones has told GiveMeSport that Arsenal and Newcastle’s interest in USA international midfielder Adams is genuine.
The reported has added that Leeds could struggle to keep the 24-year-old midfielder if they get relegated to the Championship at the end of the season.

Jones said: “It’s also extremely hard to see how Leeds keep hold of Adams if they go down.
“There will be top Premier League clubs looking at him and I think there is actually something in the Newcastle and Arsenal rumours.”

Summer transfer could happen
In our view, Arsenal or Newcastle United could be able to sign Tyler Adams from Leeds United in the summer transfer window.
Arsenal especially would be very appealing to the American star, and they would also able to meet Leeds’s transfer fee demands for him.
Yes, Leeds are a big club, but if they go down to the Championship, then they will have to sell some of their best players, including Adams.
Even if the Whites stay up, Arsenal could still get the former RB Leipzig star, described as “exceptionally bright” by former Tottenham Hotspur striker Gary Lineker on Twitter in November 2022.
After all, the Gunners are a global brand and will play in the UEFA Champions League next season.
And Arsenal could also win the Premier League title this season.
Adams joined Leeds in the summer of 2022 and has been one of the better players for the West Yorkshire club.
The midfielder has made 24 appearances in the Premier League and has played twice in the FA Cup for Leeds this season.
Adams also played four times for the USA at the 2022 Qatar World Cup.
According to ESPN, Adams may not play again this season after undergoing hamstring surgery in March.
