Some Leeds United fans have been reacting to Kiko Casilla’s most recent comment on social media.
The goalkeeper put a cryptic post on Twitter that led to a lot of Leeds fans speculating about his future at the club, and to be fair we can’t blame them.
Casilla’s first post seemed to be alluding to his ongoing struggles at Leeds, posting an image that said: ‘I’m slow to go, because I believe in changes. And I wait, & I endure, & I keep. But one day I get tired, & without saying anything I leave everything & leave. Believe me that once I get tired I won’t come back again, because I give everything before I leave.’
However, Casilla has now come out to say that this message was nothing to do with Leeds, commenting on a post writing ‘Honestly, there are people with very boring lives, I have not said anything bad about the club or my situation, they are personal things, nothing to do with Leeds.’
Leeds fans of course had plenty to say about this.
Some fans wondered if that meant he was staying at the club, while another pondered what Marcelo Bielsa made of this situation.
Other supporters expressed sympathy for the Spaniard after Leeds fans began gossiping about his future after his initial post.
