Thierry Henry has labelled Leeds United and Arsenal transfer target Mykhaylo Mudryk as a ‘pretty impressive’ player, as he told CBS Sports on Paramount+ (05/10/22 at 7:45 pm).
The legendary striker added that he likes the 21-year-old’s ‘directness’ and he is intrigued about where the Shakhtar Donetsk star will end up because ‘he’s been linked to a lot of teams’.
Two of them are Arsenal and Leeds United – but the Premier League duo are just joining a host of English teams that have been looking and scouting him of late, according to 90min.

It seems like it’s compulsory for a rising player to be likened to a legend of the past or someone else that’s currently seriously thriving in the game today.
Well, Ukraine’s all-action winger has been compared to, none other than, PSG’s new king, Kylian Mbappe.
Former Arsenal striker Henry isn’t pushing the boat out that far when discussing Mudryk’s game, but he did share that he appreciates what he’s bringing to the table.
“When you do these types of games and performances in the Champions League, then people are going to notice you,” said Henry.
“I have seen him play for Ukraine and he was pretty impressive. I like his directness. I get annoyed sometimes when wingers always come to the ball.
“If you have space in-behind and you see the grass, then just go and run at people. I always like that he plays one v one. He’s a good player. He has been linked to a lot of teams, so let’s see where he’s going to end up.”

MUDRYK’S STOCK RISING
Operating on the left channel for Donetsk, it’s in the Champions League where Mudryk is shining brightest.
Against RB Leipzig and Celtic, he assisted twice and scored the same amount as his team picked up two valuable wins from their group.
Recently losing to Real Madrid away from home was probably on the cards, but it was a narrow loss and another game where Mudryk showcased his talent as his team aim for an all-important knockout spot in the Champions League.
To put it simply, if Mudryk continues down this current road, then it wouldn’t be a surprise if he’s a Premier League player pretty soon.
