The Ibrox chief was delighted with the Rangers star’s performance in today’s Europa League clash.

Rangers boss Steven Gerrard spoke to reporters in the aftermath of his side’s hard-fought draw with Ufa in the Europa League this afternoon, and raved about the quality of Ovie Ejaria, suggesting that the 20-year-old has ‘become a man’, as quoted by the club’s official Twitter account.

The Gers took the lead early on after the Liverpool loanee’s stunning strike, but were pegged back not long after. They then had to see the game out with nine men, after Alfredo Morelos and Jon Flanagan were sent off.
Ejaria, 20, stole the show for Rangers, though, and Gerrard did not hold back in his praise for the midfielder.
The Gers spoke spoke to reporters, and highlighted how much the Liverpool owned starlet has already improved during his time at Ibrox, as quoted by the club’s official Twitter account:

“Ovie’s goal was sensational. I think his last four performances he’s become a man. He’s performing at a high level, he’s been really good since he’s come through the door, but he’s getting better and better, and he’s growing.”
Next up for Rangers is their huge Old Firm clash with Celtic at Parkhead on Sunday, and if they show the same commitment and application that they displayed this afternoon against Ufa, they have every chance of beating Brendan Rodgers’ men.
