Trevor Sinclair has stated that Liverpool’s Jordan Henderson will be ‘looking over his shoulder’ at England because of Jude Bellingham.
At different stages of their careers, both Henderson and Bellingham will be expected to earn that all-important ticket to the 2022 World Cup in Qatar later on this year.
Liverpool’s captain in the middle is the experienced pro and the leader without the armband on the international stage.

Whilst Liverpool’s summer transfer target, Bellingham, at 18-years-old, is one for the future and someone with everything in his game.
Sinclair loves the ‘fearless’ nature Bellingham offers on the big stage and how he has what every top midfielder should have in their footballing locker, as he told talkSPORT.
“I think Jordan Henderson will be looking over his shoulder,” said Sinclair. “I know he’s only 18, but what is he in his third or fourth season playing professional football?
“He’s got so much experience. Playing week in and week out in the Bundesliga at Dortmund.
“The fundamentals that every good midfielder has to do. Anticipate where the ball is going to land, be physical, keep the ball when you get it, have good feet when you get closed down and make that passing angle for yourself. That fearless play. He takes responsibility.”

Whilst Liverpool fans get to see what Bellingham is all about on the international stage, they may well also get to see it on the domestic scene too.
Jurgen Klopp and co are huge admirers of the Dortmund superstar and could sign him in the future, as reported by the Mirror.
With Henderson at 31, that midfield of Liverpool’s might need, not replacing, but refreshing for the future.
A player of Bellingham’s ilk, touch, aggression without the ball and dominance with it, would suit what Klopp likes from his players.
Perhaps that is something to look out for in the future because, when it comes to the top youngsters in world football, Bellingham’s name is right at the top.
