Bronny James has been urged to stay with the Los Angeles Lakers following LeBron James’ departure in free agency.
LeBron has just signed a two-year deal with the Philadelphia 76ers, but Bronny remains contracted to the LA Lakers.
Many have speculated that LeBron would like to continue playing with his son in Philadelphia next season.
However, three-time NBA champion Devean George insists it would benefit Bronny to stay away from his father.

NBA champion believes Bronny James should stay with the Lakers
Devean George believes the best decision for Bronny James’ NBA career would be to develop with the LA Lakers.
Although it was special to see Bronny play alongside LeBron and make NBA history, he now needs to go his own way.
“He needs to grow more, but now that his dad is gone, put him out there and see what he can do,” George told TMZ.
He continued: “I think it’s a good situation for him. I think he needs to space away from his dad, in my opinion.
“Let him do his own thing. Okay, what can you do? You don’t have to follow your dad around. He’s about to be done (retired) anyway.”
Playing under head coach JJ Redick and alongside Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves, Bronny should have enough mentorship.
Meanwhile, he will also have the opportunity to step out of LeBron’s shadow and make a name for himself in Los Angeles.
Moving to Philadelphia would suggest that Bronny is only comfortable playing under his father’s wing.
