Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has said that Darwin Nunez is not happy that he is not starting games.
Jurgen Klopp made the comments about Liverpool striker Darwin Nunez on the club’s official website after the win against Newcastle United at St. James’ Park in the Premier League on Sunday.
The Reds came from a goal down to beat Newcastle 2-1.
Liverpool also had central defender Virgil van Dijk sent off in the first half.

Nunez came on as a substitute in the second half and scored both goals for Liverpool.
The £140,000-a-week (Spotrac) striker has made three substitute appearances in the Premier League this season.
And Liverpool manager Klopp has admitted that the 24-year-old is not happy that he is not starting matches.
Klopp said about Nunez: “Definitely what I said to Darwin had no influence on his performance. Pep Lijnders can speak to him and that’s what he did, I just give him a hug and encourage him to go out there and fight for the team. That’s it.
“Darwin, we had that before, he is not happy for not starting, that’s how it is but somebody, in this early stage of the season, cannot start.
“We cannot have 11 players and play them all the time, so we need to find stability is the discussion… I don’t know if the public discusses it but of course players are not happy [when they do not start].”

Darwin Nunez is a very good striker, and perhaps after his goals against Newcastle United, he will get to start more regularly for Liverpool.
Klopp has a number of attacking players/forwards at his disposal.
There is a lot of competition for places in the Liverpool attack.
Nunez needs to be patient and has to take the chances when he gets them.
Just like he did against Newcastle on Sunday.
Nunez has made 32 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.
The striker has scored 11 goals and given three assists in those games.
