What’s the story with Diaz?
Tottenham have tabled an initial offer worth £37million to sign Porto superstar Luis Diaz. That fee could rise to as much£46million for the Colombian with add-ons considered.
Diaz has been shining for Porto this term, and he’s even attracted interest from Liverpool.
Spurs were tipped to have a busy January window, but as of yet, they’ve failed to add a single player to their squad.
However, as we enter the final week of the window, the London club are seemingly stepping up their attempts to make the crucial signings that could propel them up the table.
Important signing
Diaz could be a very important signing for Tottenham.
Antonio Conte already has two world-class attackers to fit into his 3-4-3 system, but Diaz would add a third prong to that attack, completing an incredibly frightening trifecta.
The Colombian is a very talented player. He’s proven himself at Champions League level and he could be an absolute star in the Premier League.
There’s a reason Spurs have bid so much for this attacker.
