Darren Bent has suggested on talkSPORT that Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal should try to sign Jude Bellingham, saying that he would take him at the Emirates Stadium ahead of Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane.

The former Tottenham striker believes that Borussia Dortmund striker Bellingham would be a very good signing for Arsenal.

The Arsenal-supporting talkSPORT pundit has said that he would take the 19-year-old England international midfielder at the Gunners.

Arsenal told to sign Jude Bellingham

Speaking about the England player he would most want at Arsenal, Bent said, as transcribed by TBR: “Jude Bellingham would be the one.

“Everyone would say Harry Kane. But I would take Jude Bellingham. He has got energy, he is young.”

Bellingham would be massive for the Gunners

In our view, Jude Bellingham would be a stunning signing for Arsenal and would make the Gunners so much better in the middle of the park.

The Englishman is one of the best and most dynamic midfielders out there who plays the box-to-box role perfectly.

And he is only 19.

The Borussia Dortmund star would fit in nicely with the way Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta plays his football.

Bellingham has been superb in the Bundesliga and is one of the best players in the German domestic league.

The 19-year-old has scored three goals and given two assists in 15 Bundesliga matches so far this campaign.

He has also scored four goals and provided one assist in five UEFA Champions League games so far this season.

Last season, Bellingham scored three goals and gave eight assists in the Bundesliga, and scored one goal and gave three assists in the UEFA Champions League.

Could a transfer actually happen?

We do not think so.

Liverpool, Manchester City and Real Madrid are among the clubs keen on Bellingham, who could reportedly cost over £100 million.

We do not think that Arsenal are in a position right now to spend £100 million or more on a single player.
