Janusz Michallik has claimed that Liverpool transfer target, Mason Mount, will ‘jump ship’ at struggling Chelsea when the summer window opens.
The ESPN pundit added that Mason Mount ‘doesn’t like Chelsea‘ as contract talks between the midfielder and his club drag on.
Given that Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool are crying out for not just one midfielder, but several, this summer, then Mount has seen his name linked with those on Merseyside.

The 24-year-old watched his Chelsea side get booted out of the Champions League on Tuesday night, after they were outclassed by Real Madrid over two legs.
It now means that Chelsea’s season is over and they are heading towards a possible bottom-half finish in the Premier League.
Nonetheless, when discussing the future of Mount, Michallik thinks that the Englishman will be heading for the exit door, as he told ESPN.
“I like Mason Mount,” said Michallik. “But I don’t think Mason Mount likes Chelsea, so he is going to jump ship, that’s my prediction. I can’t blame him.”

WILL MOUNT LEAVE?
Chelsea don’t have a manager in the dugout, they are out of the Champions League, heading towards a bottom-half Premier League finish and have no Europe for next season.
It has been a season of pure disaster and it wouldn’t be a surprise if Mount heads for the exit door, as a result – Frank Lampard previously discussed his future and labelled him a ‘huge player’.
A player of his ilk, especially with Euro 2024 around the corner, needs to be playing in the Champions League, and whilst Chelsea’s chances are over, after Liverpool’s thumping 6-1 win at Leeds United on Monday night, they have just about left that door open.
