Paul Merson has praised Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus on SportsKeeda, and believes that the Brazilian star has taken the Gunners to another level.
The former Arsenal star has been impressed by how well Jesus has done for Mikel Arteta’s side since his move from Manchester City in the summer of 2022.
The Sky Sports pundit has said that even if Jesus is not scoring too many goals at the moment, he is playing well for Arsenal and has taken the North London club to another level.
Jesus has score five goals and given five assists in 13 Premier League starts for Arsenal so far this season.
The 25-year-old Brazil international striker has given one assist in five UEFA Europa League appearances for the North London club so far this campaign.

Paul Merson on Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus
Merson wrote: “Gabriel Jesus may not score goals, but he brings so much to the party. He makes a difference on the pitch, and he’s taken Arsenal to a different level.
“If they lose a couple of games, however, people will be looking at him – that’s just the way it works.
“We saw it years ago with Emile Heskey. Everybody loved playing alongside him, but they lost a few games and his performances came under the microscope.”
Goals needed
In our view, Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus does need to get back to scoring ways.
Yes, the Arsenal star is doing well at the moment, but he is a striker and strikers need to score goals.
We should not be overly concerned with the former Manchester City star right now, but it would be great if he scored a goal or two this weekend for Arsenal.
Jesus is part of the Brazil squad for the 2022 World Cup finals in Qatar.
