Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson has praised Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur on the club’s official website after playing against them at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium at the weekend.
Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool got the better of Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 in North London on Sunday.
Egypt international forward Mohamed Salah scored both the goals for Liverpool in the Premier League game.
Tottenham did not have the best of times in the first half, but the North London club stepped up their game in the second period and pulled a goal back through Harry Kane.
And Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson, who earns £150,000 per week as salary (Spotrac), was impressed.

Alisson said: “I think we fought a lot and we deserved the three points, but the opponent we have to say did a good job as well, but we were capable to defend them until the end and to keep the three points.”

Encouraging
In our opinion, Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson’s comments on Tottenham Hotspur are very encouraging.
Now, we know that Spurs tend to be defensive under Antonio Conte, but they did take the game to Liverpool in the second half.
The problem with Tottenham in recent games has been that they have not started strongly and have had to step up their game in the second half.
That is an issue that Conte has to sort out in the coming weeks and months for Tottenham to be successful this season.
