West Ham United have made drastic improvements in recent weeks.

David Moyes, Manager of Sunderland gives his team instructions during the Premier League match between Arsenal and Sunderland at Emirates Stadium on May 16, 2017 in London, England.

Hammers boss David Moyes addressed the media during his post-match press conference in the aftermath of his side’s hard-fought 0-0 draw with Arsenal last night, and delivered a possible hint that he sees Marko Arnautovic and Michail Antonio as his first choice strike partnership, as quoted by the club’s official website.

West Ham have made vast improvements under the guidance of the Scot, taking four points from their last two games against Chelsea and Arsenal respectively, and things all of a sudden are starting to look a whole lot rosier in east London.

The Hammers have undoubtedly impressed defensively, but they have also looked a real threat going forward, with Arnautovic and Antonio providing a fantastic outlet for their teammates in forward areas.

Moyes spoke to reporters in the aftermath of the game against the Gunners last night, and highlighted the threat that the pair possess when working in tandem, as quoted by WHUFC.com:

“We have got a threat with the two boys we have got up front at the minute, and we’ve also got Andy Carroll, Chicharito, Diafra Sakho and Andre Ayew, so we’ve got players who can score. I feel as if we can get the bit at the back right, it will give us a good chance.”

Next up for Moyes’ men is a trip to the Potteries to take on Stoke City in the Premier League on Saturday, and a win could take them outside of the drop zone.
