Charlie Adam has intimated that Ryan Kent may be thinking about a move away from Rangers, amid speculation from Leeds United.

The English winger has been linked with a move to Leeds quite a bit for the past 12 months.

The Premier League side tried and failed to prise him from Rangers last summer and The Scottish Sun reported in April that the Elland Road side were returning with a £15 million bid this time.

It remains to be seen whether that has materialised but with only three weeks left in the transfer window, now is the time Leeds are going to strike if there is an ideal time.

Rangers were dumped out of the Champions League qualification phase by Malmo on Tuesday night, with Kent producing another sub-par display after his performance in the defeat by Dundee United this past weekend, which ended the Gers’ 40-match unbeaten run.

And Adam, speaking to BBC Sportsound, has suggested that the 24-year-old may have his mind on something else right now.

He said: “I thought he was going to have a good season, but….Has his head been turned? From where? There’s nobody there for him at the moment. I know they had a big offer from Leeds last summer for him and he told the club he didn’t want to go.”

Possible exit?

It is absolutely possible, yes.

Marcelo Bielsa himself is said to be a huge fan of the former Liverpool academy gem and even if he is playing poorly, the Argentine won’t view him any differently.

The closer we get to deadline day, the more potential there is for ‘absolute scenes’ as the kids say.

Nobody is saying that he’s definitely leaving Rangers but with Leeds holding a long-term interest, it wouldn’t be a surprise if they made another, bigger move this time.
