Some Tottenham Hotspur fans on social media are rather excited after it was reported that they’re looking at Manchester United’s Dean Henderson.
Henderson has been playing second-fiddle to David De Gea at Old Trafford this season and Spurs are reportedly keeping an eye on his situation.
Tottenham are seemingly in the market for a goalkeeper. They’ve been linked to Jordan Pickford lately, and with The Telegraph suggesting that Antonio Conte wants a homegrown number one, Henderson looks like a good choice.
The 24-year-old is an exceptional stopper. He was a star at Sheffield United on loan in the Premier League and while his career has stalled a bit back in Manchester, the talent is clearly there for the England international.
Whether or not this move comes to fruition remains to be seen, but if Spurs do sign Henderson it sounds as though it would be a very popular addition.
