Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane is thought to be somewhat reluctant to return to Tottenham Hotspur if Daniel Levy remains at the club.
Daniel Levy’s Tottenham Hotspur future could be the key factor to any potential return for Harry Kane down the line.
That is according to a report from the Daily Mail, who report that relations between Kane and Levy have become strained.
Kane only recently left Tottenham for a big move to Bayern Munich as he seeks to win some silverware.
Spurs secured a fee of around £86million rising to £100million for Kane with the striker keen to leave in search of silverware.
Kane has started well at Bayern but Levy has already commented on the possibility of a return…

Daniel Levy comments clarified
Levy spoke to supporters on Tuesday night and indicated that Tottenham have a buy-back clause as part of the Kane deal.
That isn’t quite the case though as there is no fixed fee in the deal which would see Kane return.
Sky Sports reporter Paul Gilmour claims that the clause is actually a first refusal rather than a straight buy-back clause.
That means Tottenham would be invited to match offers from any other English clubs if bids are made for the Bayern striker.
The move would still be down to Kane’s decision – and a Spurs return seemingly isn’t a foregone conclusion despite the strong emotional connection.

Levy presence could prevent Harry Kane return
It’s stated that Levy became ‘increasingly difficult’ when it came to selling Kane.
The report states that Levy tried to change certain parts of the deal when Bayern already thought they were agreed with the Spurs chairman seemingly holding the deal up.
Kane then missed a flight because Levy stalled the deal and the striker wasn’t even allowed back into Tottenham’s training ground in the meantime.
All of this means the relationship between Kane and Levy is ‘strained’ and Kane could snub a return if Levy is still at the club.
We think the media do go after Levy a little, and Levy’s comments on Tuesday would be very strange if he and Kane were on such bad terms.
Seeing Kane back in a Spurs shirt before he retires would be great, and we can only hope that the striker isn’t deterred from making that move by off-field matters.
