Harry Redknapp says he doesn’t think Harry Kane will be ‘mad-keen’ to leave Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur amid interest from Manchester United, as he told talkSPORT Breakfast (16/03/23).
The former Tottenham boss also seemed to jibe at Manchester United’s progression under Erik ten Hag by stating that they are a ‘fair way away’ from where they think they are.
Added to that, Redknapp also shared that Kane is ‘moving house’ and he is ‘happy’ with life in north London.

The 29-year-old’s contract will have 12 months left to run this summer and there is big talk about what will happen, including Manchester United possibly coming in.
Given that Kane is yet to sign a new deal, it has to be questioned if he is thinking about moving this summer because he would have surely signed a new contract by now.
Nonetheless, with Spurs producing another trophyless season, Harry Redknapp shared his thoughts on the main man up top.
“I think he (Levy) will get him to sign another contract, wouldn’t he?!” said Redknapp. “I don’t think he will be mad-keen to move now. He wanted to go to Manchester City. I think he would have gone to Man City two years ago.
“But I just got a feeling now. He is moving to a new house. I just think he’s a big fish there, isn’t he?! His contract is amazing. He is a family man. He has a game of golf. I just don’t think he will move.
On a better chance at winning something at Man United: “I still think Man United is a fair way, way away. I don’t think their results.
“I just get the feeling he will stay. He is happy there and his life is good.”

TWO BIRDS AND ONE STONE
Kane has Tottenham’s all-time leading goalscorer record in the bag and it will outlive him. He will land the England one very soon. The next one is Alan Shearer’s Premier League record.
He can kill two birds with one stone by, still leaving Spurs, but joining a club like Manchester United, then getting the Premier League record at Old Trafford and possibly securing those trophies.
A player of his ilk, goalscoring ability and talent needs, not just a big trophy to his name, but several trophies, and given how Daniel Levy is running the ship in north London, he’s not going to get that at the place he calls home.
