Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy could be open to selling Harry Kane to bitter London rivals Chelsea, according to The Athletic.
What’s the story?
The Athletic are reporting this morning that despite the intense rivalry between Tottenham and Chelsea, a transfer involving Kane could happen.
Chelsea want to sign Kane from Spurs in the summer transfer window.
Some ‘industry sources’ are saying that selling the England international striker to Chelsea might be ‘more appealing’ to Tottenham chairman Levy than doing a deal with Manchester City.
Spurs could do a cash-plus-player deal with the Blues involving a player such as striker Tammy Abraham.
Abraham could then just replace Kane in the team.
City are also willing to offer players in a potential deal for Kane.
But, the likes of Raheem Sterling and Riyad Mahrez are on high salary, which Spurs may not be able to or willing to afford.

Could a Tottenham-Chelsea transfer happen?
A potential transfer will depend a lot on Kane.
Will Kane be willing to join Chelsea and damage his relationship with Tottenham fans?
A move to City would make more sense for the England international striker.
Pep Guardiola’s side play good football, create a lot of chances and win trophies.
Kane will have a great chance of winning the league and the Champions League, and also becoming the top scorer in Premier League history if he joins City.
