Actor and producer Hank Azaria was not impressed with Taylor Swift’s appearance during the NBA Finals.

Swift had courtside seats for Game 4 of the series between the New York Knicks and the San Antonio Spurs.

The Knicks won 107-106 at Madison Square Garden to take a 3-1 lead before sealing the deal on the road in Game 5.

Game 4 will be remembered for OG Anunoby’s last-second tip-in for the win, but Swift also made the headlines.

Azaria admitted he is fed up with seeing Swift at sporting events after she attended several NFL games this season.

Why Hank Azaria was frustrated by Taylor Swift’s Knicks appearance

The front row at Madison Square Garden often hosts A-list celebrities at Knicks games, from Spike Lee to Timothee Chalamet.

It was no surprise to see Taylor Swift and her friends enjoying Game 4 last week, but some took issue with her attendance.

The popstar has attended several Knicks games before, but she is obviously not a diehard fan like most spectators in the arena.

It does seem wrong that celebrities can enjoy prime seats while regular fans are priced out of the biggest games.

However, Azaria’s issue with Swift was more personal; he no longer wants to see Swift at major sporting events.

Given that she is in a relationship with Travis Kelce, Swift is often spotted in the stands watching the Kansas City Chiefs.

But the popstar’s presence usually results in the cameras panning to her and even the commentators discussing what she is doing.

Azaria raised his issue with Swift on the Dan Le Batard Show following the Knicks’ legendary Game 4 victory.

“I tell you, the one that bothered me was Taylor Swift. Come on,” the 62-year-old explained.

“I know she’s the hugest thing in the world, but we had to sit with her all through the NFL, and now she’s at the Garden.

“Not that I question why she’d get the seat. I’m just tired of the whole Taylor Swift sports thing. It’s ridiculous.”

Azaria is not the first to complain about Swift’s sports crossover, but she is unlikely to take notice of her critics anytime soon.
