Everton have been linked with Barcelona’s Arda Turan in the January transfer window.

According to Spanish publication Mundo Deportivo, the agent of Turan is trying to persuade Everton into making a bid for the Barcelona attacking midfielder.
It has been reported that Ahmet Bulut is attempting to find the 30-year-old a new club in the January transfer window, and has targeted AC Milan and Everton for a move (click here to read more).

The Daily Mail has claimed that the Turkey international is in talks with Major League Soccer outfit Chicago Fire.
Well-known Spanish football journalist Balague, who works for Sky Sports, has stated that Barcelona want to sell the former Atletico Madrid star, but he has stated that the Blaugrana have not received any offers from Everton.

Balague told Sky Sports when asked if Turan to Everton is a possibility: “Barcelona have not received an offer from Everton at all, most of the stuff that is coming did come from China six months ago, and is now coming from Turkey.
“Besiktas was in the equation, but that was more his agent pushing it and Besiktas going after him.
“Barcelona don’t want him, and they want to get rid of him, but they have not received an offer from Everton.”
Turan joined Barcelona from Spanish rivals Atletico in the summer of 2015 for an initial transfer fee reported by The Guardian to be worth £24.1 million, but he was unable to play for the Blaugrana until January 2016 due to a transfer ban on the Catalan club.
