Thierry Henry has raved about reported Liverpool target Jadon Sancho on Rio Ferdinand Presents FIVE.
The Arsenal legend has said that he is looking forward to watching Sancho in action for England at the Euro 2020 finals.
The former France international striker has said that he is excited by Sancho, who has been linked with Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool, and wants to see him in action for the Three Lions this summer.
BILD reported in April that Liverpool manager Klopp is looking at the winger as a potential replacement for Mohamed Salah, as covered by HITC Sport.
Henry said on Rio Ferdinand Presents FIVE: “I want to see Jadon Sancho because I think he is a great player and we don’t see him often because he is in Germany.
“I just want to see him. I want to see what type of player he can be for England, he is a very good player.”
Jadon Sancho to Liverpool?
It is unlikely that Salah will be sold this summer.
After all, the Egypt international forward just had a very good season on a personal level.
Salah scored 22 goals in the Premier League, just one fewer than Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane.
However, even if the former Chelsea player stays, Sancho would still be a very good signing for the Reds.
Valued at £80 million by Dortmund, according to Sky Sports in May, Sancho scores goals and creates chances.
The winger is also a wonderful player to watch.
However, there is a very good chance that Liverpool will miss out on Sancho this summer.
That’s because Manchester United are reported to be edging closer to a deal with Dortmund over the transfer of the England international winger.
