Moussa Sissoko wasn’t voted Tottenham Hotspur’s Player of the Year.
Graham Roberts has admitted on Twitter he was disappointed that Moussa Sissoko didn’t win Tottenham Hotspur’s Player of the Year award.
Sissoko has enjoyed a stunning turnaround in fortunes at Tottenham this season, having endured two poor years in North London originally.
The France international’s energy and guile from midfield have minimised the absence felt by Mousa Dembele leaving in January.
But it was Son Heung-min who scooped Spurs’ Supporters’ Player of the Year award, as announced by the club’s Twitter account after their final-day draw with Everton on Sunday.
Sissoko impressed against the Toffees yesterday, and former Lilywhites star Roberts has admitted that the former Newcastle United winger would have had his vote.
That being said, there was no major complaints that Son won it either. The South Korea attacker has scored some massive goals for Mauricio Pochettino’s side, especially in their run to the Champions League final.
