Quite a few Tottenham Hotspur fans on Twitter believe that Moussa Sissoko should have won the Supporters' Player of the Year.

Spurs announced this evening that Son Heung-min was voted as the club's stand-out performer during the 2018-19 campaign.

The South Korea international has hit the 20-goal barrier and also scored some vital goals in Tottenham's route to the Champions League final.

On the other hand, it has undoubtedly been Sissoko's best season since joining the North Londoners back in 2016.

The Frenchman's guile and energy from midfield has been a breath of fresh air for the Lilywhites, and many of their fans believe that the former Newcastle man was 'robbed'.

It could have gone either way to be fair. For every argument in favour of Son winning it, there's another for Sissoko.

In truth, it doesn't really matter. Both have been outstanding for Tottenham this season and Mauricio Pochettino will need both at their best in the Champions League final against Liverpool on June 1.
