Graeme Souness has said on Sky Sports Premier League (8:55pm, April 23, 2021) that Daniel Ek may not be able to buy Arsenal from Stan Kroenke.
Ek, the CEO and co-founder of Spotify, has said on Twitter this evening that he is willing to buy Arsenal if Kroenke Sports & Entertainment are ready to sell.
The Swedish billionaire is worth $4.7 billion (£4.10 billion), as of April 23, 2021, according to Forbes, and some Arsenal fans have already made it clear that they would love to see him take over.
Liverpool legend Souness was told about Ek’s tweets on Sky Sports this evening, and he seemed rather unconvinced.
Souness said on Sky Sports Premier League (8:55pm, April 23, 2021): “He has only got four billion. It’s not enough. People are talking about these absent owners will sell. They are under no pressure to sell. They are absent, they don’t turn up to games.”

Graeme Souness has a point
Kroenke is a billionaire and a successful businessman, and if he does not want to sell Arsenal, then he will not.
True, Arsenal fans protesting this evening against how the club is being run will send a message to Kroenke, but the American billionaire will not be forced into selling the North London club for a loss.
The 73-year-old will surely want to at least recoup the money he has invested in the club if he wants to sell.
