Speaking on Soccer AM’s YouTube channel, Tom Cairney has been waxing-lyrical about Fulham teammate and reported Arsenal and Aston Villa target Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa.
The Cameroon international has caught the eye of some clubs with his performances in the middle of the park for Fulham this term, and the Whites’ captain has been full of praise for his ability on the ball.
What’s been said?
Cairney was playing a game where he had to name the Fulham player with the highest score in a number of attributes you’d find on a FIFA Ultimate Team card, and he said Anguissa was a candidate for the best dribbler at the club.
“He’s very hard to get the ball off. He’s very quick, he’s got good feet and he’s so strong. I think he did a record amount of dribbles in one game this season,” Cairney said.

Just what Arsenal need
Arsenal are in dire need of a midfielder to partner Thomas Partey next season, and Anguissa’s dribbling skills could make him the perfect foil for the Ghanaian.
Anguissa is a solid dribbler, he’s got a brilliant touch and he can beat a player with ease, and with Arsenal struggling to create chances this season, he could be exactly what the Gunners need.
Aston Villa are also reportedly keen on the midfielder, and while he’d also be a decent addition for the Midlands club, we have to feel that he’d be a better fit for the London outfit.
