Some Tottenham Hotspur fans are confused by a cryptic Instagram post by one reported Fabio Paratici target on Saturday.

Spurs are heavily linked with a move to sign Barcelona midfielder Ilaix Moriba.

Tottenham are reported by Sport to have agreed to pay around £12.8 million to sign the 18-year-old this summer.

Moriba appears to be training on his own at the moment and he posted footage of himself doing some solo gym work in an unknown location yesterday.

But the youngster added a number of cryptic emojis which have got some Lilywhites fans talking.

Here’s what they’re saying on Twitter:

Exciting

Paratici clearly has an exciting long-term plan at Spurs.

If Moriba is signed, it’ll be the third high-profile young star to have joined this summer.

On Friday, Tottenham announced a deal to sign Pape Matar Sarr, another 18-year-old defensive midfielder who will stay on loan at Metz this season.

In addition to that, Spain winger Bryan Gil was recruited from Sevilla and with him only being 20, he certainly counts as a young star of tomorrow.

Paratici won countless trophies during his time as Juventus’ sporting director and although it’ll take a while before we know how successful he’s going to be in North London, he certainly has a strategy and it’s fascinating to see if it’ll bear fruit.
