Barcelona central midfielder Ilaix Moriba has told his agents to speak to Nuno’s Tottenham Hotspur about a potential move to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this summer, according to Sport.
What’s the story?
Tottenham are interested in signing Moriba from Barcelona before the summer transfer window closes next week, according to Sport.
The Spanish publication have claimed that Spurs are willing to pay what Barcelona want for the 18-year-old central midfielder and are also ready to meet the teenager’s salary demands.
Moriba’s agents and Tottenham representatives will meet today to try to reach an agreement.
Spurs have already agreed to pay Barcelona €15 million (£12.86) as transfer fee for the midfielder, who is out of contract at the La Liga club at the end of the season.
Moriba reportedly has an agreement with RB Leipzig, but the German club are willing to pay only €8 million (£6.86m) for him to Barcelona.

Could a Tottenham transfer happen?
From Sport‘s report this morning, it seems that a transfer could happen soon.
After all, Spurs are willing to pay Barcelona what they want for Moriba and there will be a meeting with his agents today.
Now, of course, Tottenham need to show the midfielder and his agents how he fits into their plans and agree on a salary package.
It seems that Spurs are very keen on the Barcelona midfielder, and you should not be surprised if a deal is struck soon.
