Arsenal have confirmed that academy defender Harry Clarke has joined Ross County on loan for the season.
The club announced on their official website that the 20-year-old centre-back will spend next campaign with the Scottish Premiership on a temporary transfer.
Clarke spent last season with League Two side Oldham Athletic where the former England youth international excelled with the Latics.
The youngster played over 30 games for the club, scoring just once.
Indeed, the defender has been given a chance to impress in pre-season this summer under Mikel Arteta. Clarke started in Arsenal’s 2-1 loss to Hibernian.
And now the club have made the decision to send Clarke to Scotland for the season with Ross County. And manager Malky McKay is excited to work with the Arsenal youngster.

The Ross County boss told the club’s official website: “Harry is a player that I have tracked and watched for some time having seen a lot of youth football during my time with the Scottish FA.
“He is a player with talent and ability but more so he has a tremendous attitude and one that I think is a perfect fit for our club.”
Clarke is one of many academy players out on loan this season from Arsenal. And on social media, supporters are hoping the youngster can impress whilst in Scotland.
