Glasgow Rangers swooped to sign Glenn Middleton from Norwich City in January and the youngster says he has no regrets about making the move to Ibrox.

Middleton, 18, is a boyhood Rangers fan and is thrilled he managed to get his dream transfer.

Speaking to The Herald this week, Middleton said he is loving life at Rangers so far.

He said: “I am coming in to work at the club I have always supported, that I have followed all my life. Me and my dad used to come and watch the games and now I am a Rangers player.

“You can’t really ask for much more.

“I am loving it. I am coming in every day and just getting on with my football so I am a lot happier and I am enjoying it a lot more.”

Middleton has made a strong early impression upon signing, starring for Rangers’ under-20s.

He was one of the standout players against Copenhagen a fortnight ago and he really impressed in the 6-0 win over Leicester City earlier this week.

He earned praise from Gers legend Peter Lovenkrands, and Rangers fans have been messaging him telling Middleton he deserves a first team call-up.

If Middleton carries on his impressive form then it won’t be long until he does get his chance, and being a Rangers fan, he will be even more determined not to let the Light Blues down.
