Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s Rangers will kick off their 2022-23 Scottish Premiership campaign against Livingston away from home at the Tony Macaroni Arena this afternoon.
Rangers reached the final of the UEFA Europa League last season, but in the domestic league, they had to endure disappointment.
The Gers lost the Scottish Premiership title to bitter Old Firm rivals Celtic by four points last season.
That meant that Celtic automatically qualified for the group stage of the UEFA Champions League this season.
As for Rangers, the Ibrox club will have to enter Europe’s premier club competition at the third qualifying round.

Rangers will be determined to win back the Scottish Premiership title this season.
Livingston are a good team, and playing at home will give them an advantage today.
